Jesse Bunse, CFP®, CRPC®, Financial Planner, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ as well as a CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR℠ and has several years of experience working with clients creating comprehensive and customized financial plans.
After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Business Administration, emphasis on Finance & Banking; he began his career as a Grain Trader, buying grain from farmers to be sold to domestic and international companies. Jesse grew up on a family farm that was founded in 1886, which holds the distinction of “Missouri Century Farm.” Coming from a long lineage of farmers, Jesse understood and effectively communicated the needs of farmers and those in agribusiness.
But with the help of a mentor, Jesse discovered that he had a heart for the less fortunate. He spent several years working as the Finance and Donations Coordinator for an inner-city ministry where he had the opportunity to learn more about the different types of financial advice and, in particular, learned the value of fiduciary-based financial planning. For the last five years, Jesse has been working directly with clients, developing and implementing financial plans that enable clients to retire by focusing on their interests and passions.
Jesse and his wife, Sarah, met in Columbia and now live in Overland Park. They enjoy volunteering at Legacy Christian Church and going to games as often as possible to cheer on the Royals and Chiefs.
