Max Filbeck, CRPC®, Paraplanner, earned his BS from the School of Business at Missouri State University in Finance and Financial Planning.
Max holds the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR℠ designation which focuses largely on the retirement process, estate planning and asset management during pre- and post-retirement. Students that successfully pass the examination must adhere to ongoing requirements set by the College of Financial Planning including following a code of ethics, a standard of conduct and ongoing continuing education. At Keen Wealth, his responsibilities include assisting in data gathering and analysis.
While in school, Max completed two internships with financial planning focused firms--one of which was with Keen Wealth--that gave him valuable insight into operating within the fiduciary standard. Max also entrepreneurially worked his way through college, by creating, owning and operating a t-shirt company out of his dorm room.
Max was raised on a farm in Kearney, MO, home of Jesse James, where his family raised cattle. His parents, both of whom are flight attendants, gave him opportunities to travel to various places around the globe. If he isn’t traveling or checking things off his bucket list, you can usually catch him spending time at the lake.
